Online Therapy in California for Asian Adults and Adult Children of Immigrant Parents
Many people come to therapy feeling exhausted—not because they're weak, but because they've spent years taking care of everyone else while losing touch with themselves. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, family stress, or repeating the same painful patterns, therapy offers a space to understand not only what is happening, but why it keeps happening.
The Next Chapter is an invitation to continue reflecting, learning, and growing beyond the therapy room.
Welcome to
The Next Chapter
Life doesn't always unfold the way we imagined.
Sometimes our most meaningful growth begins in the chapters we never planned to write. . .
Your Next Chapter -
Understanding yourself is an important beginning—but insight alone doesn't create change. Lasting growth happens when awareness is followed by intentional action. Together, we'll explore the patterns that have shaped your life, strengthen new ways of responding, and begin writing the next chapter of your story—one that reflects who you are today, not just what you've been through.
If you're not quite ready for therapy—or simply want to continue reflecting between sessions—you're also invited to explore The Next Chapter, a growing collection of articles and practical reflections designed to help you understand yourself and your relationships more deeply.

Hi, I’m Rosanna.
I'm a therapist by profession, but at heart I've always been a student of people—the stories we carry, the relationships that shape us, and the invisible patterns that quietly influence how we live.
For more than twenty years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the often complicated work of becoming more fully themselves. Along the way, I've learned that while every person's story is unique, many of us are asking the same questions: Why do I keep repeating the same patterns? How do I care for others without losing myself? What does it mean to live with greater intention?
As a Filipina Asian American, my own journey has been shaped by family, culture, responsibility, and starting over in ways I never expected. Those experiences have deepened not only my compassion, but also my curiosity about how our histories continue to influence the lives we're creating today.
The Next Chapter is where those interests come together. It's a place to reflect on relationships, boundaries, family, purpose, aging, and the everyday moments that invite us to grow. I don't pretend to have all the answers, but I believe the right questions can change the way we see ourselves—and sometimes that's where meaningful change begins.
Whether you're here to read, reflect, or simply feel a little less alone, I'm grateful you stopped by.
Welcome!
